The Narrows

A stretch of the central section of Lake George, north of Bolton Landing.

Lake George is affectionately known as the Queen of American Lakes because of her beauty and clear water.  In fact, she is considered to be one of the cleanest and clearest lakes in the world.  Her rich history is also as impressive as her visual beauty.
